Prayer Chapel Tacoma General Hospital

This is a project Unique Art Glass did for Tacoma General Hospital's Prayer Chapel. The first photo shows one of  the "lantern lights" that adorn the four corners of the space. The glass is kiln slumped and textured to create the feeling of water. Total thickness is 1-1/4" thick giving the piece a great deal of depth.





In the center of three of the four walls are our kiln slumped windows. Each window has a unique NW nature scene of mountains, trees and water. The 1-1/4" thick glass panels are each close to 400 lbs.



Below is a close up view of one of the nature scenes. Notice how it picks up the blue of the sky and the green of the foliage outside.
